Had a nice time riding with my husband today at Miller Farms. This was his first time on a horse and I am a experienced rider. The workers were very enthusiastic with their review on how to steer and ride. However once the ride started it was very quiet and slow.
They were so nice with my 5 years old daughter on her 1st ride ever.
My daughter has been going to miller farms since she was 4 years old and was sad since we had moved away in 2013 and now that we have moved back to williamstown She can't wait to go back to Miller Farms. Can't wait to see you all again soon.
Awesome rodeo and trail riding
I went riding there with my friend who's husband gave her an hour ride for her birthday. We both have been riding since the ages of four and five. The staff was not friendly or approachable. The trail ride was very boring, we had to walk at an extremely slow pace, and walked in a tiny figure eight for the hour. Wish our experience had been more upbeat. Even though it lacked our expectations the horses were clean and well kept.
The guide didn't provide any instruction or conversation. We will be back, but I hope we hear more information about the history of Miller Farms, horseback riding, and horses in general. The reason I begged and pleaded my parents to continue to pay for riding lessons years ago is because my trainer would talk about their passion for horses, animals and their farm.
